Das herkömmliche Diamantsägeseil

The conventional Diamond wire

*****

In convential diamondwires you will find the diamond crystals distributed in a cylindrical metal composite. The wires degree of wear and tear depends on the hardness of the metal composite. Consequently for each material different diamondwires with individual specifications are needed to be used. If the metal composite is too hard, the diamondwire will get flat-topped and ist not able to cut anymore.

However, if the metal-composite is too soft, wear and tear will increase substantially and the wire will be worn out in a short period of time.
